William Spence Death, Obituary – Yesterday, Bishop William Spencer departed in a fashion that nobody could have foreseen or prepared for, and no one was aware of his departure beforehand. The news of his passing came out of the blue completely. We are in absolute disbelief. We are no longer in first place; others have passed us. In spite of this, the glory and honor belong to God in everything, and we are commanded to give thanks in all circumstances because this is the will that God has expressed regarding us through the words that Christ has spoken.
Even though this is the case, the glory and honor belong to God in everything. Because this is the desire that God has revealed concerning us, we are to always give thanks, no matter what the circumstances may be. No matter what is going on in our lives or what the future may have in store for us, we will never stop showing appreciation and praise to the Lord, and that includes doing so right now. This is true regardless of what the future may have for us. It is only natural that after living such a long and arduous life, Bishop Spencer will eventually be able to rest in the company of the Lord at some point in the not too distant future.
His life has been full of ups and downs. We see it as a blessing and an honor to have worked for and with him in such a wide variety of roles, but we consider it the highest honor of all to have been his wife throughout that period. Working for and with him in such a wide variety of positions was a privilege and an honor. It was a delight and an honor to work for and with him in such a wide array of capacities during the course of my career. It was a delight to work with him and serve him in such a wide variety of roles, despite the fact that working with him and serving him in general was a source of honor and blessing.
