Utha King Obituary, Death – On Saturday, January 14, 2023, Utha Mae King, who resided in Odessa, Texas, passed away. Her children James King and Tammy Castleman were by her side when she departed. Utha Thomason came into the world on January 3, 1936, joining her parents, Fred D. Thomason and Allie B. Cordray Thomason, who were living in Coodys Bluff, Oklahoma at the time. She handled herself with the poise and dignity befitting a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. She tied the knot with Bill Leon King, the man who would go on to become the greatest love of her life, on September 26, 1959 in Nowata, Oklahoma. She was a devoted wife and mother who cherished the quality time she had to spend in the fresh air with her child.

In the past, she was well-known for her skill at bowling as well as her excitement for roller skating with her family and friends. In addition, she was an avid roller skater. Her parents and all of her other siblings, William, Gerald, Benny, Mary, Callie, Lucille, and Lorene had all passed away before to Utha’s birth. Her husband had also passed away. Even her husband was taken from her.
Her son, James King, who resides in Odessa, Texas, and her daughter, Tammy, who is married to Troy Castleman and lives in Comanche, Oklahoma, are the only members of her family who have survived her passing. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Alyse B. McKee of Bowie, Texas, Garrett Castleman of Casper, Wyoming, and Kaycee Castleman Stover of Duncan, Oklahoma, as well as her great-grandchildren, Cadence McKee, Bear McKee, William Stover, and soon Colton Castleman. McKee was born in Bowie, Texas. Garrett Castleman was born in Casper, Wyoming. Kaycee Castleman Stover was born in Duncan, Oklahoma. There are currently no preparations in place to organize any memorial services or celebrations.
