Tom Callagan Obituary, Member Of Scotia Glenville Elks Has Died - Death

Tom Callagan Obituary, Death – Thomas Callagan, 68, of Scotia and formerly of Troy, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, in the comfort of his own home. He was ushered into eternal life. Additionally, he was commonly referred to by the nicknames “Tom” and “Tommy.” Unfortunately, Thomas Callagan has died away.

He was a graduate of Troy High School and was the son of William and Mary Walsh Callagan, both of whom passed away before him. He was born in Troy, New York, but neither of his parents were alive when he was born because they had both passed away before he was born. Mr. Callagan’s professional background includes stints at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, Freihofer’s Baking Company, and Walt Disney World in Florida. Most recently, he has been employed at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam. In the most recent position he held, he was employed at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam.

Tom was a jack of all trades, a committed fan of live music and music in general, and he treasured the time he spent with his children singing karaoke together. Tom was a master of all trades. At one time or another, the Scotia Elks Dart League as well as the Breakfast Bunch were able to count him as a member of their respective organizations. For the past 23 years, he has been Bill W’s friend, and he has been a proud Sponsor for a great number of people who are participating in the AA program.

People will remember Tom most for his hilarious sense of humor and how infectiously infectious his laughter was. This is the thing that people will remember about Tom the longest. Tom was also a fanatical fan of the National Football League teams the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. In particular, he was a Yankees fan. In addition to that, he adored everything that had to do with Disney. Without a question, the presence of his grandkids in his life was the thing that brought him the greatest joy and satisfaction.

He was a devout man who had in the past gone to what was then known as St. Paul the Apostle Church in Troy and had participated in communion services at that location.
