Tim Strohm Obituary, Lewiston Middle School Mourn Teacher’s Death

Tim Strohm Obituary, Death – As a result of the passing of a teacher on Monday, there will be no school for students at Lewiston Middle School on Tuesday. According to a message sent out by Superintendent Jake Langlais, Tim Strohm, a math instructor working for Team Haleakala, passed away on Friday as a result of an unexpected medical occurrence. According to what Langlais wrote, “Our emotions, prayers, and best thoughts go out to loved ones, colleagues, the entire LMS family, and students who are grieving this enormous loss.” “Tim was a man who chose education as a second career to have a lasting impression on those around him. I believe that everybody would acknowledge that he did just that. The good impact he made on so many will carry forward.”

“In support of our colleagues there will be no school for students at LMS Tuesday. On the other hand, assistance will be made available for LMS staff members. We are organizing for counselors to support students with a drop in approach.” When classes start back up on Wednesday, counselors will continue to be accessible to both students and faculty. Funeral arrangements for Strohm have not been made at this time. Langlais has stated that classes at the middle school will be canceled on the day in question if these events take place on a school day.

On Monday, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there will be no regular classes. Students who are enrolled in Lewiston’s other educational institutions will continue to go to class as scheduled on Tuesday.
