Taylor Chrisman Obituary, Death – An incident that took place on the US-400 highway approximately one mile south of Fredonia on Monday afternoon resulted in the death of an 18-year-old male from Wichita and left a female from Parsons with major injuries, according to the information that was provided by the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP). The incident took place on the highway.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Wichita resident Taylor Chrisman was driving westbound in a 2004 Nissan Maxima when he crossed the center line for an unknown reason at approximately 2:43 p.m. and struck the front of a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, causing it to “break into several pieces.” Chrisman was ejected from the vehicle and taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries after he was thrown from the vehicle. Chrisman was driving a Nissan Maxima from the year 2004, which was the model year of the vehicle. The Kansas Highway Patrol is currently looking into the collision and conducting an inquiry into it (KHP). Both cars eventually came to a halt in the ditch that is situated next to the lanes of traffic travelling in the direction of the highway’s eastbound traffic.

Shelli Nyambane, the 44-year-old driver of the Traverse that was involved in the crash, was taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment of what the Kansas Highway Patrol described as significant injuries after the accident. Chrisman was reportedly killed as a result of the crash, which also left the driver of the second vehicle with life-threatening injuries, as reported by the Kansas Highway Patrol. It was determined at the scene of the accident that Chrisman had passed away as a result of the collision. Every time one of the drivers was behind the wheel, they would make sure that they were safely restrained by buckling their seat belts as soon as they were behind the wheel.
