Sean Hayhurst Death, Obituary – Unexpectedly, Mr. Sean Hayhurst, who was a member of our MARMC family, passed away this morning. I have to tell you the bad news with a heavy heart since I know it will upset you. At the beginning of his employment at MARMC, Sean worked in our Outside Machine Shop. Currently, he is engaged at this site as the Hoist Shop Work Supervisor in C952 at this facility. Since he first became a part of our crew three years ago, he has been an indispensable component of our bigger family. His dedication to both the Navy and to our organization has been consistent throughout this time. Recently,
the Marine Corps Air Station honored Sean by bestowing upon him the titles of Junior Civilian of the Third Quarter and Junior Civilian of the Year for the year 2022. He was an exceptional individual who was a tremendous asset to our company and will be sorely missed by each and every one of us. He was a very valuable member of our team.
During this difficult time that we are all going through together, I ask that you keep Sean’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
If you are one of the persons who worked closely with Sean and would like to speak with someone, please get in touch with either your supervisor, Chaplain Friebel, or any of our counselors who are on staff if you would like to discuss this. We are here for you and will provide the help and resources you require to get through this difficult time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Please do not put your safety in any jeopardy, and remember to look out for one another and keep each other safe.
