
Ryan Arnott Obituary, Death – On January 14, 2023, Ryan John Arnott, better known by his stage name Straface, passed away. He would have turned 33 in two weeks. Ryan Straface was born on January 29, 1990. His mother, Nancy (née Ketterer) Straface, and his father, James Straface, are his parents. Ryan was a member of the graduating class of 2008 from West Lake High School. After graduating from SUNY Cortlandt, he continued his education at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where he earned a master’s degree in philosophy. Ryan is a bright and inquisitive individual who decided to complete his studies at Washington University in St. Louis, where he eventually earned his Juris Doctor degree. Discovery Capital Management was located in Norwalk, Connecticut, and Ryan served as an attorney for the company.
He is remembered affectionately for his warmth and friendliness, his bright intelligence, and his love of reading and learning, all of which he did avidly. Additionally, Ryan was a devoted sports fan who cheered on both the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. Ryan, an avid botanist, and his son Connor, who was called after Ryan’s favorite philosopher, enjoyed going on long walks together with their German Shepherd, Nietzsche. Ryan enjoyed nothing more than firing up the grill and treating his loved ones and friends to his world-famous Cowboy steaks. His beloved parents, Nancy and James Straface, as well as his cherished son, Connor, and Connor’s mother, Sinead, are among those he leaves behind after his passing. Ryan is the devoted brother of Scott Straface (Stephanie), Christopher Straface (Julie), and Jenna Geysen (Lance).
He is also the cherished uncle of Alivia, Dean, Luca, Jackson, Jordan, Xander, and Isla. Scott and Christopher are married, and Jenna is married to Lance. In addition, he is survived by his aunts and uncles, Liz and Kenny Muller, Diane and Tony Consigliere, Vincent and Nancy Straface, Steven Straface, and Debbie and Jim Ziska. Steven Straface is the only member of his family who is married. Family and friends will get together on Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 8 o’clock in the evening at the COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, which is located at 767 E. Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck and can be reached at (914) 698-5968. Friday at 10 a.m., there will be a Mass of Christian Burial said at St. Gregory the Great RC Church, and thereafter the interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
