Roy Everett Obituary, Death – During his time at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, which he attended on a regular basis, he served in a number of capacities, including as a deacon and as the leader of the committee that was responsible for the management of the cemetery. During this time, he also played a significant role in the administration of the cemetery. During this time, he was also active inside the church, serving in a number of positions of leadership.
At this point in time, he was operating in each of these roles simultaneously. Mr. Everett was a leading figure in the development of the competitive form of the sport known as truck and tractor pulling. In addition to this, he was a retired dairy farmer, a participant in the Tractor Puller Association, a member of the Southern Puller Association, and a member of the National Tractor Puller Association who was elected into the Hall of Fame in the year 2010. All of these accolades were bestowed upon him in the year 2010. 2010 was the year in which he was presented with each and every one of these honors and distinctions, thus it is appropriate to refer to that year.
Before he was born, all of his immediate family members, including his grandparents, his brother Charles Everett, both of his parents, and both of his other siblings had already passed away. It was too late; he had passed away before anyone could help. Both of his parents and one of his siblings had already passed away before he was even born; they all died before he was born. In his family, he was the only child ever born.
His wife Connie Sanderson Everett, his sons Tony Everett and special friend Christy Lowery of Morrisville, North Carolina, and Paul Everett and Sunny of Hahira, Georgia, his grandchildren Austin Everett, Bryce Everett, and Bailey Everett, his brother Ferrell Everett of Doerun, Georgia, his special friend William Collins of Doerun, Georgia, and additional members of his family are among his survivors.
