Roy Dorsey Death, Obituary –  According to Talladega County Deputy Coroner Josh Vincent, the human bones that were found in a creek on Blue Eye Springs Road in Lincoln, Alabama on January 16, 2023 have been identified as belonging to Roy Dorsey Jr., who resided in Lincoln and was 77 years old when he passed away. The identification was made possible by the fact that the bones were found in a creek on Blue Eye Springs Road. The fact that the bones were discovered in a creek along Blue Eye Springs Road allowed for their identification to be completed successfully. We were able to correctly identify the person to whom the bones belonged because to the fact that they were found on Blue Eye Springs Road.

The discovery of the skeletal remains served as the impetus that kicked off the series of subsequent events that, in the end, resulted in the successful conclusion of the identification process.
According to the conclusions of the investigation into the death that was carried out by Deputy Coroner Vincent, there was no clear evidence of foul play located at the scene. This was noted in the findings of the investigation.

He served in the military in spite of the fact that it seems that Mr. Dorsey did not have any known family members at this time. At the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama, Investigator Willis and Deputy Coroner Vincent, along with the Veterans Administration, are working to make arrangements for an appropriate burial for the deceased person.
