Paul Perrault Obituary, Death – After a brief battle with illness, Paul E. Perrault, 68, of Newington, Connecticut, passed away on January 17, 2021 in the comfort of his own home. He was the son of the late Alfred L. Perrault and Jeannette (Dallaire) Perrault and was born in Methuen, Massachusetts on December 7, 1952. He had lived in Philadelphia for the majority of his adult life before coming to Newington just a few years ago. His parents had passed away.

While stationed in Philadelphia, he served in the United States Army and assisted in the upbringing of two kids. Early in his life, Paul lived in both Gloucester, Massachusetts, and Norwich, Connecticut. When he was younger, some of his interests included music, baseball, and Superman. One Little League All-Star game that went the full six innings was particularly memorable for the dominant pitcher in 1965. He got 13 outs in a row! (But walked 8 – they still won) Although his interest in Superman had waned somewhat over the course of his life, music had remained his lifelong obsession. He possessed an incredible memory for popular songs, lyrics, and chords, in addition to being an accomplished guitarist.

During his years as a working professional, he was employed in a number of different capacities; nevertheless, it was in his retirement that he found the most fulfillment in his volunteer work. Any job that allowed him to contact with people, but particularly the ones he did for Meals on Wheels, were the kinds of jobs that he enjoyed doing. Everyone agrees that he had a heart that was absolutely overflowing with love—love for God, love for his family, and love for life.

And those who inhabit the place where his soul now resides are overjoyed to have him there. Christopher Perrault and his wife Vanessa, who reside in Philadelphia, and Matthew Perrault and his wife Rachel, who reside in Tennessee, are his two sons and his legacy. In addition to his parents and wives, he is survived by his sisters Carol Aregood and Cindy Perrault of Vernon, as well as his brothers Ron Perrault of Rockport, Massachusetts, and Thomas Perrault of Manchester, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews. He was born in Vernon in 1939. In the not too distant future, there will be a memorial service held at the burial for members of the immediate family.
