
Paddy Cush Death, Obituary – The esteemed president of our club, Paddy Cush, passed away not too long ago, and all of us here at Rock St. Patrick’s would like to express our most sincere condolences to his family as well as to all of his friends and acquaintances who were particularly close to him. Paddy Cush was president of our club for a number of years. Paddy was a player for Rock St. Patrick’s throughout the 1950s and 1960s; to find him in the shot, look in the third row from the right of the back row. He was a member of the team during those decades.
Paddy was extremely proud of his presidency and association with the club, having witnessed its progression from its reformation in 1977 to its development and success both on and off the field in recent times. Paddy was ecstatic with the fact that he was able to contribute to the success of the team in both an on-field and an off-field capacity. This made him feel like he had accomplished something truly meaningful. Because of this, he had the impression that he had achieved something absolutely remarkable. We would like to offer our deepest condolences to everyone who is grieving as a result of Paddy’s departure, but especially to his family and friends. We are truly sorry for the pain that you are going through. We beg you to kindly accept our most sincere condolences at this difficult time.
