Paddy Byers Obituary, Director of Colony 47 Has Passed Away - Death

Paddy Byers Death, Obituary – Our hearts were filled with sadness when we discovered that someone who had been such an important and foundational contributor to the work that Colony 47 performs had passed away. They had been a part of the organization from its inception. Paddy Byers and Jim Colville, who both attended the same institution and were working toward degrees in social work, first met each other while they were both students there. Jim Colville was the founder of our organization. In the year 1978,

Jim Colville provided Paddy Byers with a great deal of encouraging feedback regarding his choice to become a member of our organization as well as a member of our Board of Directors. Paddy was in charge of the organization and delivery of a wide range of services during his tenure as Director of Colony 47, which lasted for more than 30 years. During that time, Paddy served as Director of Colony 47. During this time, he also served in the capacity of Director for the organization. Paddy was instrumental in the reorganization of our board of directors and the search for our very first chief executive officer back in 1995.

He also played an important part in the process. In every one of these processes, he played an important role as a contributor. Paddy has been thanked by everyone who has ever had the opportunity to collaborate with her for her direction and leadership, as well as the invaluable insights and a sense of purpose that she has offered to our Board over the course of a number of years. In addition to this, they have conveyed their appreciation to her for the invaluable insights that she has supplied. It would mean a lot to me if you could take the time to recognize my appreciation. Paddy
