Mitch Coker Obituary Death – Mitchell Don Coker, 26, died in Athens on September 18, 2020. Mitch graduated from Elbert County High School in 2012 and was presently working for the USDA after completing his education. He had previous experience working as a mechanic and had a strong passion for automobiles, trucks, and anything else that could be powered by an engine. Mitch was a passionate motorcyclist who found the greatest joy in both riding his bike and hanging out with his close circle of pals.
His survivors include his mother Angie Gail Stanley and her husband Billy, as well as his father Don Juan Coker and his wife Pam; his brother Justin Coker; his step-brother Cole Stanley; his grandparents Mickey Guffey, Gail Guffey, Luther Coker, Shirley Coker, and Jeanette Guffey; and a large number of friends that he loved as much as family and who loved him in return.
On Wednesday, September 23, at five o’clock, memorial services commemorating Mitch’s life will be place in the Elberton Philomathea Masonic Lodge #25, which he was a member of prior to his passing. Dress in a casual manner is required here.
Flowers are welcome at the Lodge, and they should be brought there by Wednesday at the latest. Donations can be made to the @MitchCoker-FE Venmo account, which is being managed by Amber Drake Trotter. This will help defray some of the costs associated with the funeral and burial services.
