
Miguel Diaz Arzola Death, Obituary – On Monday evening, authorities officers in St. Petersburg made an arrest of a woman who they suspect was the drunk driver who was responsible for a collision that resulted in the death of another person. Ieasha Boyd, who is 37 years old and lives in St. Petersburg, was driving a BMW in the westbound curb lane of 38th Avenue North at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Monday, as stated in a press release that was published by the St. Petersburg Police Department. Boyd was reportedly heading near the intersection of 40th Street North when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed with a pickup truck that was traveling north at the crossroads when the accident occurred, as stated by the police.
According to the statements made by the law enforcement personnel, the collision caused the truck to flip over. Miguel Diaz Arzola, 62 years old, was the driver of the vehicle that was involved in the accident. Miguel Diaz Arzola is a citizen of the city of St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg Fire Rescue was able to free him from the debris, but it was too late for him to survive. He had already passed away. Boyd was allegedly operating a car while under the influence of alcohol or narcotics while she was also transporting two children, aged 5 and 12, according to the police report. Both of the children required very minor wound care, so their parents decided to take them to All Children’s Hospital for treatment.
In addition to the suspicion of DUI manslaughter, Boyd was brought into custody and charged with two counts of child neglect. These charges come on top of the suspicion of DUI manslaughter. The investigation has not yet resulted in a conclusion being reached.
