Mary Miller Obituary, Death – Mary Miller , age 84, of California, passed away at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana on November 12, 2022, and is now at peace with her Lord and Savior. Mary Cockrell was brought into the world on April 16, 1938, in Lexington, Kentucky, to parents Alma and Everett. On November 24th, 1957, she wed Oris Miller and they had one child together. They came so close to reaching the remarkable landmark of 65 years together.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Oris, as well as her two children, Mark (Laurie) Miller of Sidney and Sandy Fitzgerald of Urbana. Mark (Laurie) Miller and Sandy Fitzgerald all still reside in Urbana. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her an incredible amount of joy throughout her life. Penny, Jamey, Shawn, Tony, Christopher, Patrick, and Shannon are Mary’s grandchildren, and she also has nine great-grandchildren: Olivia, Jesse, Trevor, Owen, Emma, Aurora, Savina, Henry, and Maevelyn. Mary’s grandchildren are named Penny, Jamey, Shawn, Tony, Christopher, Patrick, and Seth.
Mary’s parents, her sister June, a son-in-law named Richard, and two grandsons named Jamey and Patrick all passed away before she did. Mary is survived by her sister June. Mary led a life that was rich in all aspects and she savored every moment of it. She and her husband, Oris, enjoyed taking their children camping when they were younger, and later they took pleasure in driving across the nation in their RV. They had a wonderful time during the summer when they were in Alaska, and for several years, they spent the winters in Mississippi and Alabama.
