Mark Bleich Death, Obituary – My heart hurts much more than it already does as I tell you that my dearly adored spouse Mark Bleich passed away as a result of non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He was diagnosed with the disease in 2013. The fact that I have read some of my daughters’ posts has only made the pain in my heart feel that much worse. The difficulties we’ve faced over the course of the last few months have, at times, cast a shadow over the countless joyful moments we’ve spent together over the course of our time together.
Even though your recollections have made me shed buckets of tears, I want to thank you for putting the limelight (via your words and images) back on your father, who was an extraordinarily kind, fun, and active man. I want to say thank you for doing this even if your memories have caused me to cry buckets of tears. It was a wonderful joy for me to be able to spend the last few months of my life with him, during which time I had the honor of keeping the pledges I made to be with him in sickness and in health.
It was at this time that I was able to keep the commitments I had made to remain with him in sickness and in health, and I am grateful for the opportunity to keep those pledges. The fact that I was able to spend the majority of my life with him is something that I count as an extremely fortunate blessing.
