Lisa Carter Obituary, Death – The deaths of Lisa Carter, Paul Carter, and Jade Chanelle were confirmed to have occurred on January 15th, and it is with great grief that we share this news. CARTER, On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, Lisa S., age 58, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, passed away and went to live with her Father in Heaven. Her grandmother, Ann Jane Petruce, had gone before her in death before she did. Lisa is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Dwayne Carter; her four children, Morgan Carter, Courtney Butler (Patrick), Heather Alvis (Larry), and Sloan Carter; her five grandchildren; her mother, Rita Moseley; a brother, John Sadovszky (Mary); and a sister, Elaina Turner.
Lisa also leaves behind her mother, Rita Moseley. Lisa spent over 25 of her professional years working in the financial industry. She had a passion for dancing, was an avid gardener, and was an accomplished seamstress. She devoted herself completely to the welfare of her cherished family. The family will host a gathering for friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and again from 6:00 to 8:00 in the evening. Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the Monaghan Funeral Home, located at 7300 Creighton Pkwy, in the 23111 zip code of Mechanicsville, Virginia.
A funeral Mass is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Catholic Church of the Redeemer, which is located at 8275 Meadowbridge Rd., Mechanicsville, Virginia 23116. After the service, interment will take place at Hanover Memorial Park. The Catholic Church of the Redeemer is accepting memorial gifts in Lisa’s name. Please consider contributing.
