Lilla Eroina Daprocida Death, Obituary – Eroina Daprocida, who was adored by her family in the roles of wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother (Lilla), passed away on January 15, 2023 in Kimberley, British Columbia, at the age of 88 years. Her passing was noted with great sadness by all of her surviving relatives. The family would like to offer their most heartfelt condolences to anybody who knew and loved her in the community.

Lilla On March 24, 1934, Eroina Chiricosta Monoriti was born in Pietrapennata, which is located in the region of Reggio Calabria in Italy. After getting engaged to Giuseppe (Joe) Daprocida in 1957, she uprooted her life and relocated to Canada the following year. After they got married in 1959, she uprooted her life and came to Canada. Eroina and Joe were married on February 7th, 1959 in the town of Kimberley, which is located in the province of British Columbia. They had been married for close to 64 years when she died away, and it had been a happy union. They have never lived anywhere other than Kimberley, where they initially bought a house on Wallinger Avenue in 1961 and then moved to their current home on Levirs Avenue in 1983. Both of their whole lives have been spent in Kimberley.

They have spent the entirety of their lives in Kimberley as residents. Eroina is survived by her loving husband Joe, her daughters Aida Rowat (and her husband Darrell), Edina Lobban, and Joy Brown (and her husband Robert), and her son Paul Daprocida. She also leaves behind a son named Paul Daprocida (Kristen). She was known as Nonni to her ten grandchildren, whose names are as follows: Amanda Rowat (Sam), Amy Cunningham (Lawrence), Wayne Lobban (Katy), Blair Lobban (Robynne), Randy Lobban, Nicholas Lobban, Kaitlyn Witten (Daniel), Taylor Brown, Jake Daprocida, and Sam Daprocida.

Her children’s names were Lawrence Cunningham, Wayne Lobban, and Blair Lobban. The nine cherished great-grandchildren belonging to Nonni were named as follows: Camryn, Kalle, Jacqueline, Ronan, Lilla, Sophia, Samuel, Ava, and Lawrence. Nonni additionally had nine great-grandchildren after her children’s offspring. In addition, Eroina is survived by her sister, Ovida Iraria, who currently resides in Belgium. She is also survived by a number of other family members who currently call Canada and Italy their homes. She was predeceased by both of her parents, three of her brothers, an infant daughter, her daughter’s husband Richard Lobban, and her son in law. Her daughter’s husband Richard Lobban also died before her.
