Liam McLaughlin Obituary, Death – The members of the Feis Dhoire Cholmcille Committee would like to offer their most heartfelt sympathies to the McLaughlin family on the occasion of the demise of Liam McLaughlin, who was a contributor to the festival. He contributed a lot of time and effort to the committee. In the early stages of his professional career, Liam was a member of the judging panel for the Irish language competition held at the Derry Feis.
In addition to this, during the entirety of his time spent teaching the language at St. Columba’s College, he was a well-known and highly esteemed professor of the subject. Since he was a young guy, Liam has been a devoted supporter of the annual Derry Feis. Liam also published a weekly Irish language column for the Derry Journal for a number of years, and it was during this time that he earned the utmost respect and admiration of the entire staff at the newspaper. The column was extremely well-liked, and it was during this time that Liam earned this respect and admiration.
During this time period, Liam gained not only the respect of his peers but also the admiration and awe of the Derry Journal. On the afternoon of Wednesday, January 18th, beginning at 2:00 p.m., the mortal remains of Liam will be set out for public exhibition at his home in Culmore, which is located at 53 Belvoir Park. The event will last for the duration of the afternoon. Following that, the cremated remains will be transported to the funeral home of W. J.
