Leon Dubinsky Obituary, Death – ON THIS DAY, the 17th of JANUARY, 2023, in the town of ENGLISHTOWN, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia: Our good buddy Leon Dubinsky, who was a musician, a songwriter, and a fellow member of Buddy & the Boys, passed away abruptly this morning at 4:45. He was a fellow bandmate of Buddy. Due to the fact that he was a member of Buddy & the Boys, we are passing along the news with a terrible feeling in our hearts. Following the funeral service for my exe-husband Ralph, which I attended, I am currently making my journey back to Truro with his family, which includes of his wife Beth, his daughter Ella, and his cousins. My ex-husband Ralph’s cousins are also traveling with us.
His cousins are coming along for the ride with us on this vacation as well. It is a very terrible day for Leon’s family and friends, as well as other residents of Cape Breton, and for all of us, because Leon was the composer of We Rise Again and a large number of other beautiful melodies. This news comes at a very unfortunate time for all of us. A soul that is kind and kind; may the remembrance of him be a blessing to all those who knew and loved him.
