Leigh Norman Obituary, Cambridgeshire Officer Leigh Norman has died from cancer

Leigh Norman Obituary, Death – After a brief struggle against cancer, Serving PC Leigh Norman lost her fight with the disease and passed away on Thursday evening, January 12. At this time, only half of the flag is being flown from the Huntingdon Police Department headquarters. Leigh was reportedly a well-respected and professional officer who had a strong dedication to policing and ensuring the safety of the community, as stated by the police. 2009 was the year when Leigh joined the police force.

He began his career as a patrol officer in Cambridge City before moving on to serve on the Tactical Team and, later, the Rural Crime Action Team. Over the course of seven years on this squad, Leigh developed into a prominent member, contributing to the fight against rural crime, linked antisocial behavior, and organized crime surrounding it.

The Chief Constable of the Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Nick Dean, was quoted as saying that “Leigh was an amazing member of the force and will be missed by so many people.” “His dedication and enthusiasm for keeping people safe and avoiding crime were second to none, and the recognition he has gotten over the years is proof to the fact that he was number one in both of those categories.” My deepest condolences go out to Leigh’s family, as well as to all of his coworkers, with whom he had an exceptionally close working relationship, and to the entire policing family.

Our hearts and souls are broken beyond repair, and there are no adequate words to express our sorrow. Even though we used to drive each other crazy as kids, you’ve always been the most entertaining, kind, and kind person I’ve ever met. Excellent older sibling; I couldn’t have asked for more. We will ensure that Holly and Teddy receive the love and support they need because you were a devoted husband and father to them.

The loss of our nephew Leigh Norman as a son, husband, and father to Teddy is beyond description. Leigh, you became a manly man, respected and liked by everyone he met. So much of our lives and family will be incomplete without you. Thank you for loving Leigh, Holly Norman; he will always be by your side, seeing the world through Teddy’s eyes. Oh Teddy, your parents are so proud of you.
