Lakelyn Draheim Obituary, Death – “Today, at 10:22 in the morning, our lovely princess warrior danced into the arms of Jesus,” her family said. While her parents and Bubba hugged her close and sang her favorite lullabies, she drifted off to sleep. She was encompassed by the affection of her family, friends, and the entire community. In a statement on Facebook, Lauren Draheim expressed how much the family and friends of their “special angel” had adored her. “With her not being in the house, we are having a really tough time since it feels as like a kid has been torn from my womb. This is making things extremely difficult for us.” There are no words to adequately convey the kind of suffering I am experiencing.
Prayer is the only thing that will give us the strength to get through this difficult time. You are an incredibly strong and courageous princess, and we couldn’t be more proud of you if we tried. You influenced more people in 5.5 years than most people do in their entire lives, and you ruled the world in that little amount of time. I am your number one admirer, and no matter what happens, you will always inspire amazement in me. See you soon, my beautiful angel; I love you more than everything in the world – your mother.
Please give some thought to assisting the Draheims, who are a wonderful family of five who live in Berlin, Maryland. Both Lance and Lauren have devoted their whole lives to furthering their studies. They are the proud parents of three gorgeous children: Lawson, Lakelyn, and Baby L.B. Up until very recently, Lakelyn, who is now 4 years old, has been an intelligent and physically active prodigy who adores gymnastics and dance. Cancer of the brain claimed the life of Lauren’s mother fairly recently. Her most recent few days have been a living nightmare. Taking Lakelyn in for treatment of a brain tumor at the Children’s Hospital in Washington, DC (suspected brain cancer). No details yet It is beyond comprehension tremendous pain unbearable suffering that I could never believe possible. I beg of the Lord, have merc. The neurosurgeon who examined me said that the growth is inoperable, therefore they plan to take a biopsy tomorrow in order to determine the nature of the problem.
The Draheims are the friendliest people you will ever meet, and they are in desperate need of our assistance. Please give serious consideration to assisting them during this insurmountably challenging time, as they would aid anyone in the world who needed assistance. The news we received today was definitely not what we had hoped for! As a result of today’s diagnosis, we have increased the amount you can donate to the GoFundMe by seeing below.
The 12th of January, 2022. Posting from Lauren Draheim’s Journal – from two hours ago We were given the kind of news that no parent ever wants to hear. The unthinkable is about to happen to us. DIPG Grade 4 with H3K27M mutation is what Lakelyn has been diagnosed with. Moving her to Washington, District of Columbia, to receive radiation treatment is the only choice I have. Get away from my loved ones, including my friends and family, as well as my support network. There are a lot of potential treatments, but none of them have been verified. Some have never even been done. We are lost. We are currently frozen. We are staring at this red folder with tears of despair and anguish as we gaze at my sweet kid who has pigtail curls and gorgeous hazel eyes and is pleading with us to let her attend dancing class.
