Keven McKiernan Obituary, St George District Cricket Club Sydney former Club Secretary has died - Death

Keven McKiernan Death, Obituary – Keven McKiernan, who has served as our Club Secretary in the past, passed away early on Saturday morning, and it is with a heavy heart that we share the news of his passing. Keven enjoyed widespread acclaim and acclaim of the highest kind. We, together with his wife Denise and his three children Sean, Karen, and Rebecca, are all grieving the loss of a devoted family member, a beloved friend, and a dedicated member of the community.

Our club is mourning the loss of a gentleman of impeccable morals and impeccable work ethic who was always happy to toil away diligently behind the scenes to ensure that our players received all of the necessary off-field support. He died away recently. This extended to the hospitality that was shown to visiting referees as well as the teams who were competing in the competition.

When Keven was a member of the committee of the Georges River Penshurst Junior Cricket Association, he began making contributions to the game of cricket more than three decades ago. These contributions continue to this day. In addition to that, he served as the association’s secretary for a total of seven seasons during that time. In 2010, he was accepted onto the St. George DCC committee, and four years later, in 2014, he was given the position as secretary for the organization. But unfortunately, his illness forced him to retire in the year 2022. We were quite fortunate to have a volunteer that was so devoted and focused on the task that they were doing.
