Joseph Coleman Obituary, Death – On October 17, 2022, Joseph Perry Coleman, 39 years old and a resident of Wynantskill, unexpectedly passed away. Joey graduated from Averill Park High School and spent the majority of his adult life working for the wood flooring business that was owned by his father. He was happy to be working for ABC Supply Co. Inc. in Albany at the moment. His devoted mother, Gayle Durivage, and stepfather Ron; his best friend and father, Jack Coleman and stepmother Tammy; his sisters Tricia Greaves (John), Amanda Marbot (Tim), Renae England (Keith), Moira Carroll (Dan), and Nicole Durivage; and his stepsiblings Bria, Nico, and Rena (Kendra) Cunningham.

Joey is survived by his son, JoJo; his significant other Kyle Rourke and their Along with a large number of his aunts, uncles, and cousins, Joey is survived by his many nieces and nephews, including Tony, Jules, Cole, Bailey, and Brody. Fishing, golfing, bowling, and softball were among Joey’s numerous interests, and they were also the settings in which he established many friends for life. You could always count on him to deliver a hard hit and make some impressive acrobatic defensive plays. Joey was one of the most charismatic guys you would ever meet, and he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family, laughing and joking.

Joey, at the end of the day, was proficient in all he attempted. He was able to juggle anything, was an incredible dancer, and was known for his rapping under the name “J Butters.” Being an incredible parent to his son JoJo was by far his proudest achievement by a wide margin. A portion of both of our hearts will never be whole again. Funeral services will be place on Friday, October 21, at 7 p.m. in the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, located at 1700 Washington Avenue in Rensselaer. Those who knew him came to love him and will always remember his grin. Family and friends are welcome to stop by prior to the service from four in the afternoon until seven in the evening.
