Jonathan William Death, Obituary – Lincolnton police have confirmed to Channel 9 that a man passed away on Wednesday morning after being struck and killed by a train near S. Flint Street. The incident took place about that time. The occurrence took occurred close to S. Flint Street in the neighborhood. According to the Lincolnton Police Department, the incident took place shortly after 10 o’clock in the morning when a CSX train that was traveling west through town collided with a person.
