John Leignadier Death, Obituary – Good evening, it is with great grief and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our valued Inspector John Leignadier, who died away quietly in his sleep earlier today. John Leignadier had been ill for some time and had been hospitalized earlier this week. John Leignadier was a member of our team for a significant amount of time, and we are going to miss him terribly. John Leignaier has been coping with health issues for some time now at this point. Inspector John was a dedicated team player who played an important role on our staff.
He was known for the enthusiastic support, kindness, and encouragement that he supplied to everybody and anybody that he came into contact with. This earned him a lot of recognition. He was kind and helpful at all times, and he was always ready to provide his support. After completing multiple tours of duty for the United States Air Force as a helicopter pilot and medic during both times of war and peace, John went on to become a highly respected member of the United States Marshall’s Service, where he worked on a large number of special assignments.
During his time with the United States Marshall’s Service, John worked on a variety of cases involving high-profile criminals. John served in this role at both times of conflict and periods of peace during the time that he was employed in this capacity. John was awarded a number of medals throughout his time in the military in recognition of the excellent service he provided during his career. We are appreciative of your steadfastness, patriotism, and dedication to both our country and the City of Glen Cove, Sir, and we thank you for all that you have done. Both the Inspector and his infectious grin will be sorely missed by all who knew them.
