John Jackobs Obituary, Former Member Habitat for Humanity Greater Cincinnati Has Died - Death

John Jackobs Death, Obituary – Sincere condolences come from everyone in the Jacobs family following the passing of John Jacobs over the weekend, when he was laid to rest at the cemetery following his passing away. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jacobs family during this difficult time. Over the course of more than 21 years, John has served as a volunteer for the Westfed partnership of Habitat for Humanity, dedicating his time and energy to the cause. In total, he had served in that capacity for that amount of time. In addition to being a skilled carpenter and a reassuring presence on the job site, he had a reputation for being generous and having a witty demeanor.

I was able to finish some work with him over the course of the weekend, and the work that we did together was successful. Because Habitat for Humanity has seen a great lot of success over the previous few days, the families of Christine and John are currently being kept in our thoughts and prayers as a direct result of this. It was typical of him to be the one who would patiently read through the instructions for the materials and tools, and then he would approach the assignment in a levelheaded manner. He would also be the one who would finish the job. We are grateful for his life and the impact he had on Habitat for Humanity, as well as the individuals and families who were able to purchase homes through Habitat as a direct result of his work.

We are glad for his life and for the impact he had on Habitat for Humanity. His departure will be sincerely mourned by everyone, each in their own special way, but for very different reasons.
