
Joe Guzman Obituary, Death – On February 16, 2022, in Dallas, Texas, Joe S. Guzman, who was 82 years old and lived in Rowlett, Texas, was called to his eternal rest. Joe was born in Cadereyta, which is located in the state of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. His family moved to Edinburg, Texas, and then in 1953 they moved to Wylie, Texas, where he received his formal education. 45 of Joe’s working years were spent with the Allied Aviation Fueling Co. in Dallas, Texas. Because of his commitment to his job, he received an award for perfect attendance every year between the years 1965 and 1983. Joe married Mattie Howland in 1963, and the couple raised their two boys, Richard and Keith, in Rowlett, where they remained residents for the entirety of their 58-year marriage.
Joe was an animal lover who kept a variety of farm animals, including cattle, goats, chickens, rabbits, and quails, to mention a few. He had a lot of fun tending to his garden and giving his friends, family, and neighbors the produce he grew. He is survived by his wife Mattie of 58 years and his son Keith Guzman of Seattle, Washington. He is also survived by his brothers Robert (Lupe) and his wife Sylvia Guzman, of Sachse, Alex and his wife Mary Guzman of Irving, Alfonzo Jr. and his wife Esmeralda Guzman of Rowlett, his sisters Frances Trevino of Rowlett and Cora and her husband Carlos Leal of Mesquite, as well
His son Joe Richard Guzman, his parents Alfonzo Sr. and Herlinda M. Guzman, his brothers Angel Mario Guzman Sr. and Francisco Guzman, his sisters Ana Maria Garza and her husband Joe, Maria Inez (Nena) DeLeon and her husband Anselmo, his brother in law Claro Trevino, and his nephew Angel Mario Guzman Jr. all passed away before him. He is survived by his daughter Ana Maria Garza and her husband Joe
