James Robert Death, Obituary – A man of 25 years of age lost his life in an accident on a Sunday afternoon that involved a motorcycle. The incident took place in the middle of the day.
James Robert Campos, of Seymour, who was riding a motorcycle at the time of a collision that took place at the intersection of FM 367 and Wellington Lane, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, according to Sgt. Dan Buesing of the Texas Department of Public Safety. The collision took place at the intersection of FM 367 and Wellington Lane. The crash occurred near the intersection of FM 367 and Wellington Lane in the neighborhood of Wellington.
The first emergency response teams arrived at the scene of the incident on Sunday afternoon at four o’clock in the afternoon. According to Buesing, Campos was thrown from his motorcycle when he drove into a ditch as a result of his inability to navigate a curve in the road in the correct manner. This caused him to lose control of his vehicle. Another rider, identified as Duane Peterson from Wichita Falls, was unable to safely maneuver the turn and ended up going off the road and falling in the ditch instead of staying on it. Peterson’s condition was reported as being one that was life-threatening when he arrived at the John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, where he was taken by helicopter.
According to Buesing, the two motorcycle riders had been traveling together before to the event they were involved in.
