James Frederick Death, Obituary – After completing his high school education at St. Elizabeth High School in Pleasant Hills in 1977, he went on to pursue his education at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Printing Management in 1981. Jim, like his father before him, has devoted his whole working life to the publishing industry, specifically the newspaper business. Both The Toledo Blade and The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, both of which are competitors in the same market, have given him the opportunity to work in production management.
The only people who will carry on Jim’s legacy once he has passed away are his two children, Ashley (Richard) Eyles of Radnor, Ohio, and Andrew (Pui) Frederick of Oakland, California. Both of them are married to Richard Eyles. Mary Kay Frederick, his sister, who lives in Finleyville, Pennsylvania, is one of the people who will go on after him. Jim was a man who could be described as stoic, humble, and true, and he took great pleasure in the company of those who were closest to him. Those who knew Jim well would probably agree that he was a man who could be described as such,
and they would also likely agree that he was a man who could be described as such. In his spare time, some of his favorite activities included playing golf, barbecuing on his patio while listening to music, and drinking a nice beer or two.
