Let us unite our thoughts in prayer and beg God to give his family the strength they need to get through this difficult time. May God hear our supplications and answer them. I pray that God would grant him eternal rest. You or anybody you know who would be interested in contributing to the funeral expenses can do so directly through Zelle or on this website if you would want to make a donation toward covering those costs.

I never in a million years would have guessed that Jaime, my older brother, would require me to compose something like this for him. The fact that Jaime had been the target of a senseless act of violence was not brought to our attention until late last night. Throughout his life, Jaime was a wonderful example of what it means to be a son, a brother, a husband, and a father. We would like to hold a memorial ceremony in Jaime’s name so that we may both honor his memory and say our final goodbyes. This will allow us to pay him the respect he deserves. I am in the process of issuing a request for donations in order to aid in covering the expense of his funeral arrangements and to offer support to my nephew Christian and his wife Karina in the middle of this tragedy. Both of them have been very supportive of me throughout this difficult time. Jaime has recently demonstrated a significant amount of excitement towards his son’s impending graduation from West Leyden High School and his enrollment in college in the upcoming fall semester. the family has created a GoFundMe account to help the family.
