The accident occurred after the man had lost control of his motorcycle and fallen onto the roadway. The occurrence took place in the wee hours of the morning on that particular day.

According to the information that was provided by the North Carolina Highway Patrol, officers responded to a call about a traffic accident in the northbound lanes of Interstate 85 at Finch Farm Road in Randolph County at approximately six in the morning. Isaac Arnaldo Olivas, 29, of Lexington, was driving a 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when, according to the authorities of the police department, he abruptly applied the brakes, which caused the motorcycle to roll over and ejected Olivas onto the street.
