Hilary Davies Obituary, Harrow Charol Member Had Died - Death

Hilary Davies Obituary, Death – We have just been made aware of some troubling information, and unfortunately, it comes at an inopportune juncture in the process. Hilary Davies, who had been a member of the group for many years and had sang in the alto section, passed away in the early hours of this morning, the morning of her 91st birthday. Hilary was one of our closest friends and had sung in the group for many years. She has been a part of the community for a considerable amount of time. She participated in the choir on a regular basis for a considerable amount of her life and it was very important to her.

She had kept up her upbeat attitude for a lengthy amount of time, which earned her a reputation for being very approachable. She was a teacher at Harrow County Girls School, and the younger members of the choir at that school had a very positive reaction to the physics sessions that she led. They look back on the time they spent with her with fondness and a sense of contentment and warmth in their hearts. They remember the times they spent with her.
In 2018, she was given a diagnosis of double pneumonia, and as a consequence of the illness, she decided to retire from singing. Her choice was influenced by the illness. Because of the sickness, she came to the conclusion that it was best for her to give up singing. Despite this, she stayed in contact with us and had a genuine interest in the progression of the choir throughout the entirety of its existence.

We haven’t seen or spoken to her as much since she moved, and now that she’s moving even further away, we will miss not only her presence but also the friendship that she brought to the table even more. Her family hails from Swansea, which is situated in Wales, and she herself has Welsh ancestry. Her family has a long history in the area. I’m at a loss for words to properly thank you, Hilary, for everything you’ve done; the fact is that I don’t even know where to start expressing my appreciation for everything you’ve done.
