Helen Davis Obituary, Death – Helen, who was born Rochette and later moved to Howell, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, surrounded by her devoted family. She was 84 years old. She is the daughter of the late Charlotte Rochette and the late Alfred Rochette, and she was born and reared in Jersey City. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Visitation Roman Catholic Church community in Paramus.

Helen was a devoted supporter of the New York Mets; in her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo at OLV, completing crossword puzzles, and doing word searches. She had a sharp sense of humor and was famous for her comebacks. Helen had a passion for the kitchen, but the truth of the matter was that her husband was the better cook. Helen placed a high priority on her family; she took great delight in rearing her own children and, in her later years, in watching her grandkids compete in various sports.

Richard Davis has been married to his cherished wife for the past 65 years. Beloved mother of Lisa Daly, who was married to William before he passed away, Richard Davis, Jodi Berger and her husband Douglas, Kim Richter and her husband Jeff, Michele Cahayla and her husband Gary, and Melissa Reed and her husband Tyler. Also mother of Jodi Berger and her husband Douglas. cherished grandmother of Stacey Heron, Kayla Gabadian.

Ashley Lubischer, Bridget Davis, Megan Davis, Kelly Richter, Caitlin Davis, Ryan Richter, John Cahayla, Connor Reed, Michael Cahayla, and Kendall Reed; also, cherished great-grandmother of Kylie, Michael, and Brianna Heron, Maxwell and Ava Gabadian, Olivia and Anthony Lubischer. Dedicated and loving sister of Harold Rochette and Kaarina, his wife. Helen is also survived by a large number of cherished nieces and nephews. Helen’s siblings Edward, George, Robert, Alfred, Marilyn, and Dolores, as well as her sister Florence, all passed away before her.
