Greg Hurst Obituary, Death – Gregory Ray Hurst, who resided in Knoxville, Tennessee, went away suddenly on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at the age of 46. His passing was reported in the local news. He has been experiencing health problems for some time. The information regarding his passing came as a total shock to everyone. Greg was raised and received his secondary education in Rhea County, which is located in the state of Tennessee, despite the fact that he was born in Rockwood, which is also in the state of Tennessee. After that, he continued on to Rhea County High School, where he graduated with his high school diploma. Greg was able to leave a favorable impression on everyone he encountered with thanks to his infectiously humorous sense of humor and his equally infectious laugh.
Before Greg was born, both of his parents, Jimmy Ray Hurst and Sarah Olinger Hurst, as well as his sister, Vickie Lynn Scroggins, had already passed away. Greg was the last surviving member of his family. Greg was the only child that his parents ever had. His wife Becky Garland Hurst of Knoxville, his sons Cody Hurst (Ashley) and Chris Parker (Jenny), both of Decatur, Tennessee, and their mother Melanie Moore of Etowah, Tennessee; his grandson Dawson Hurst; his brother Paul Hurst (Sissy), and niece Jessica Hurst of Carbon Hill, Alabama; nephew Chris Hurst (Tracy, and children) of Athens, Michigan; and his sister-in-law. The family has come to the conclusion that they would prefer to hold a memorial service for Greg in a setting that is less publicized and more intimate.
