George Mitchell Obituary, Death – On February 22, 1922, George Mitchell became one of a family of six children when he was born in Giddings, Texas. Before George Mitchell was born, both of his parents, Hayward Mitchell and Lavessie Mitchell, had already passed away. On February 17, 1951, he and Doris Hayter were wed in the state of Arizona, and the ceremony took place in the Holy Catholic Church. As a direct result of the union between these two people, three children were brought into the world. The majority of George Mitchell’s professional life over the past fifty years has been spent serving in various capacities at the Presidio of San Francisco.

In recognition of his unwavering loyalty and commitment, he received numerous honours. He was survived by his beloved wife Doris Mitchell, with whom he had been married for 66 years, two sons, Bernard Mitchell of Arizona and Floys Mitchell of Sacramento, California, and one daughter, Sondra Berry of Concord, California. His marriage to Doris Mitchell had lasted for 66 years. The 2nd of December 2018 was the day he died away. Eddie Mae Center and Lois Lee of San Diego, California; Virgie Mae Washington of Oklahoma; Bill Mitchell and Lawrence Mitchell of San Francisco, California; and Houston, Texas; all of whom predeceased him; will carry his memories with them. In addition, George has left behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, in addition to six granddaughters, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a lot of other relatives and friends.
