
Gary Jensen Obituary, Death – The man and the woman who died in a murder-suicide that was linked to a domestic quarrel last week in Elroy have been identified by the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office as the people who were responsible for their own deaths. On Wednesday, the sheriff’s office issued an updated news release in which they stated that Laurie Jensen, who was 66 years old, was the victim of a homicide and that Gary Jensen, who was 69 years old, died as a result of a gunshot wound that he inflicted on himself. The sheriff’s office also stated that Gary Jensen took his own life.
On the evening of December 28, just after 9 o’clock, the incident took place in a residence that was located on County Highway O to the east of Elroy. After receiving a call from the county’s dispatch center reporting a possible domestic disturbance at the residence, the authorities discovered that a pistol was involved in the incident, and shots were fired after receiving the call. During the incident, officials found out that a pistol was involved. As soon as the responding deputies got at the scene, they learned that both of the victims had already passed away.
