Emily Elizabeth DeLancy Obituary, Death – This week, Liz, also known as Emily Elizabeth DeLancy, unexpectedly passed away following a variety of health issues that necessitated hospitalization. In the field of education, Liz was best known for her dependable work as a substitute teacher at Holmes Park Elementary and Sapulpa Middle School. The principal of Holmes Park, Roger Johnson, said that the personnel at the school appreciated having her there. “She had contagious laughter. You would occasionally find yourself laughing just because she was laughing, even though you didn’t understand what she was saying.
Liz was like family, according to Johnson, a mother of Addison, 14, who attended Holmes Park Elementary School. “Once a husky, always a husky,” he proclaimed. “She was always there for us when we needed a replacement, whether it was in the office or the classroom. Everyone adored her, and she had a strong opinion. Wood asserted that she told Liz that she would look after Addison for the duration of those final few days, and she noticed Liz’s reaction. I know she heard me since she opened her eyes so widely, the woman continued.
Liz passed away on January 10 in the wee hours. Wood and Addison claim that they have kept themselves so busy that they haven’t had time for reality to set in. It’s so easy to think that she’ll show up at any moment, Addison thinks. She described herself as a person who was always up and moving. It was either her way or nothing. We would still go even if we didn’t have any money but still wanted to get things done.
On the left, Liz DeLancy is pictured with her daughter Addison. She promises to try to continue with the things she and her mother used to enjoy, like taking walks with their dog Lucy. She’ll also want to emulate Liz’s loyalty, which she thinks is her best quality. She never made a promise she couldn’t keep. Addison says she loves her mother’s hugs and laughs the most. When she hugged you, you could tell she cared.
