It was discovered that Egan had passed away, and his mother was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for her injuries before being released later. The family was reportedly less than a quarter of a mile away from their house when the incident occurred, as reported by the sheriff. Michael Livery, a local resident, and his brother both told WANF that they attempted to help the family that was trapped inside the crushed automobile. Michael Livery is a resident of the region.

The young woman’s screams were clear enough for me to make out. I went down as a result, and unfortunately, as you probably already know very well, she was crying over her child. “And that’s a negative development,” Livery remarked. “And that is a very unfortunate development.” After learning of Egan’s tragic departure, numerous members of the community offered their most heartfelt condolences to his friends and family.

“I feel a great deal of compassion for the mother in question. Brenda McLeroy, a resident of the area, stated that she intends to pray for the family in light of the awful loss that they have endured. The family of Egan has set up a GoFundMe campaign in order to gather donations that will go toward the cost of his funeral as well as the purchase of a new vehicle for his mother. The funds raised through this website will be used for both of these purposes.

“His mother picked him up from school a few minutes before the end of the school day. According to the explanation provided on their GoFundMe page, “they were attempting to get home before the storm when a tree fell directly on top of their car.” The entire family has been impacted severely as a result of this unfortunate turn of events. His mother brought him up all by herself, and she thought of Egan as the center of her world when she was raising him.
