Don Franzenburg Obituary, Death – Our brother in Christ Don Franzenburg was taken to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 12, 2023. He is now waiting for the resurrection of all flesh to take place, which will take place at some point in the future. For those of us who live on earth rather than in paradise, the dissemination of this information has brought about a tremendous degree of unease as a natural consequence of its arrival. Don passed away for good on January 12th, 2023, having fought off his ailments for as long as he could.
We are in mourning, but it is a different type of sorrow than that which individuals who have no hope for the future feel. Our brother passed away, and his passing has left us without him. We are aware that God will bring back to life those who have passed away and bring them to himself through the person of Jesus Christ because we have faith that Jesus was crucified and that he rose again from the death. Because of the confidence that we have in the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, this will take place (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).
Jesus shed light on who he was by declaring, “I am the resurrection and the life.” Whoever believes in me, even though he dies, nonetheless he shall live; and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die;”” (John 11:25-26).
At the Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone, friends and family will have the opportunity to pay their respects to the deceased on the afternoon of Monday, January 16, beginning at four in the afternoon and continuing until seven in the evening. On Tuesday, January 17, at 10:30 in the morning, the funeral for Don will be place at St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone. The memorial service will be held as a tribute to him. Following the conclusion of the funeral services that are going to be held at the Keystone Cemetery, the fellowship hall of the church is going to be the location of a luncheon that is going to be hosted in remembrance of the individual who passed away.
