Devon Wassenberg Death, Obituary – On the 15th of January, 2023, Jay Devon Wassenberg breathed his very last breath and departed this world. He was 15. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise, Alabama on the afternoon of Friday, January 20, 2023 at four o’clock in the afternoon. The ceremony will be presided over by Eric McCallister in his capacity as the officiant. Following the conclusion of all of the necessary ceremonies, the cremation will take place. The funeral home will open its doors for visitation on Friday at three o’clock in the afternoon, and it will continue uninterrupted right up until the time the service is scheduled to begin.
In the hours leading up to the funeral on Friday, the family will be available for visiting. On May 5, 2007, in the city of Savannah, Georgia, Jay Wade Patel Wassenberg was brought into the world by his parents, Wade and Deepa Patel Wassenberg. Jay Wade Patel Wassenberg was their first child. In his spare time, he enjoyed catching up with his friends and family as well as competing in video game tournaments. In addition to that, he possessed a profound fondness for food, more specifically for crab legs. Both of his grandfathers, Richard Wassenberg and Gamanlal Patel, had already passed away when he was born, therefore neither of them could ever take care of him. Additionally, his father had already passed away prior to his birth.
Survivors include his mother, Deepa Patel Wassenberg; step-father, Andrew McCallister; sister: Maya Wassenberg, brother Emmett McCallister; grandmothers, Damyantiben Patel, Mary Wassenberg (Jon Gordon); aunts, Bijal Dowling (Terence), Lauren Wassenberg, Rinku Gokal (Kamlesh), uncle, Kartik Gopal (Catherine).
