It is a genuine journey through space and time, and everywhere it goes, it always leaves a trace behind, no matter how subtle. While it’s possible that some of those who go with us do so with high hopes and anticipations, others do it out of a selfless love and desire to give.
Our travels could take us down a variety of different routes, some of which are lengthy and others of which consist just a single step. Nevertheless, it is inescapable that the voyage through life, no matter how lovely or sorrowful it may be, will eventually come to an end, and we must also transfer onward. This is true whether the journey is wonderful or sorrowful.
It is at times like these, when someone’s journey has come to an end, that we pause to reflect on the one who has gone before us and to remember that life is a gift. This is when we take the time to think on the person who has gone before us. Let us celebrate the life of this one shining light that has been extinguished far too soon and treasure the memory of them, whether they were our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, grandparents, relatives, or friends.
