Cheryl Gentry Obituary, Death – Cheryl Gentry, who lived in the Ironton region until her death on July 6, 2022 at the age of 72 and in the comfort of her own home, passed away that day. She is now at peace at the location that is renowned for its never-ending quiet and serenity, which is known as the place of endless rest. She was born in Bonne Terre, Missouri, on November 18th, 1949 to her late parents, Lowell Cunningham and Juanita (McComb) Cunningham.
Her parents have since passed away. Her mother and father have both passed away since then. Her mother was already an adult when her father passed away before she was born. At this point in time, neither of her parents were still living because they had both passed away previously. Her parents were the first members of her family to pass away; she also lost her husband, John Thomas Gentry, and both of her brothers before she did. Cheryl is survived by her daughter Loretta Lynn Dalton, who currently resides in Waterloo, Canada, her special granddaughter Katohna Wisdom, who currently resides in Farmington, as well as four additional grandchildren, her brother James “Jimmy” Lee Cunningham, and a large number of friends. She is also survived by her special granddaughter Katohna Wisdom, who currently resides in Farmington. A very precious granddaughter named Katohna Wisdom, who lives in Farmington at the moment, is another member of her family that she leaves behind. Cheryl is survived not just by her parents, siblings, and husband, but also by a huge circle of her closest friends.
During her time as a member, Cheryl was active in a number of different organizations, including the AMVETS, the Elks, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Eagles, to name just a few of them. People who had the good fortune to have known and loved her will remember her with a great degree of fondness and will terribly miss her now that she has passed away.
