Catherine Noboa Death, Obituary – Veronica Catherine Rose Noboa (Farchette) The fourteenth of January in the year 2023 On Saturday, Catherine Rose (Farchette) Noboa, 98, of Camillus, New York, passed away at her home with her loving daughter Cassandra by her side. Catherine was a resident of New York. Catherine Rose “Farchette” Noboa lived with her daughter for the majority of her life. Although she spent her childhood in Syracuse, she moved to Camillus in 1966. She was born and reared in Syracuse.
Catherine attended schools in Syracuse throughout her secondary schooling, earning both her high school diploma and her general education diploma (GED). She was the first woman to ever occupy the post of head custodian at West Genesee High School, which she achieved after working there for more than a decade and becoming eligible for the promotion. Affectionately, Catherine was known as Kay, Ro, or Rosie, although the titles “Mom,” “Gram,” and “Big G” were her favorites to use.
When Cassandra began writing about Catherine’s life and the events that took place while she was working as a full-time caregiver for her mother who suffered from dementia, Cassandra gave Catherine the moniker “Tripsy.” Catherine’s mother had dementia. Catherine considered St. Joseph’s Church in Camillus to be her spiritual home, and she attended services there on a regular basis. When she was younger, you might often find her in the bowling alley or on the golf course.
Golf was one of her specialties, and she excelled at it. Catherine was a tremendously creative person, and her family has fond recollections of the inventive ways in which she undertook home improvement projects and created the best manicotti for Christmas dinner each and every year. She looked forward to trying her luck at the Turning Stone casino in her latter years alongside her daughters Catherine and Cora, in addition to her sisters Mary and Cora.
