Carlos Camoira Death, Obituary – When we think back on our beloved friend and comrade Carlos Camoira, who passed away unexpectedly on the 10th of January 2023, we are overcome with a tremendous sense of melancholy, and the weight of our hearts is increased. Since Carlos began working for the Excelcare Family in Cambridge as a painter and decorator, it has been close to eight years since he joined the team. Since then, he has earned a promotion to the post of Estates and Facilities Manager in the Cambridge region thanks to the commitment and effort he has shown over the years.
Carlos was a true “muscle guy,” and when he traversed the region in his white vest and overalls helping the care homes with their maintenance work, he would make all of the ladies at the care homes swoon. He would also help them with their work. Nevertheless, his wonderful coworker Sarah emerged victorious in the battle for his affections in the end. During their six years together, Carlos and Sarah were inseparable and had a great deal of good memories as a pair. During this time, they also traveled extensively.
Because Carlos and Sarah went on so many vacations together, Carlos’ coworkers began to mock him and dubbed him “Judith Chalmers.” This was due to the fact that Carlos and Sarah went on so many vacations together. After Carlos proposed to Sarah in Tenerife, which was a really special moment for both of them, they decided to get married and exchanged their vows in September of last year. In addition, Carlos was overjoyed to finally take on the role of stepfather to Chloe, Sarah’s daughter, and he celebrated the holiday season by presenting Chloe with a set of tools.
His Excelcare family in Cambridge and beyond will remember Carlos as a man who lived up to the title of hero. He was someone who was always dependable and reassuring, took the time to get to know every person at every care home, and was a genuine treat to have had the opportunity to interact with. He was someone who took the time to get to know every individual at every care home.
