
Anthony J. Norris Death, Obituary – The westbound lanes of Interstate 10 in Daphne, Alabama, were closed early on Wednesday morning while the Daphne Police Department investigated what ALGO is calling as a severe collision. It has been officially confirmed by the authorities that a male pedestrian was killed in this incident. The Daphne, Alabama, police have stated that they are “looking into a collision involving a vehicle and a human” in relation to the incident. On the morning of January 18, 2022, at approximately 4:30 in the AM, police officers from Daphne responded to a collision that had taken place on westbound Interstate 10 near the 36-mile marker.
While traveling along the road, a driver called 911 to report that they had collided with something that could not be identified. Anthony J. Norris, 42 years old, was a resident of Jeanerette, Louisiana, and the findings of the investigation revealed that he had been struck and died as a result of his injuries. The accident did not result in any injuries for the individual who was operating the vehicle that was involved in the collision. There was a significant amount of fog present, and Mr. Norris had been found strolling close to the traffic lane. It was for work-related reasons that he was in the Daphne area, and while he was there, he got into an argument with a colleague who was also working.
Following the heated discussion, Mr. Norris got out of the automobile and began walking away from the location of the incident. Although it does not appear to be a criminal problem, please accept our sympathies on behalf of our team for Mr. Norris’s loved ones and family.
