
Andreas Savva Obituary, Death – In loving and lasting memory of Andreas “Andy” Savva. It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Andreas Savva, who served his family so admirably in the roles of husband, father, and grandfather. The members of the family break the news to one other with sadness. Andreas went away on the Saturday, the 14th of January 2023. He was 63 years old.
The funeral will take place in the St. Euphemia Greek Orthodox Church in Bankstown on Friday, January 20, 2023 at one o’clock in the afternoon. The church can be found at 6-12 East Terrace.
Immediately after the service, the committal will take place in Rookwood General Cemetery, which is located at 1 Hawthorne Avenue in Rookwood. The address for the cemetery is 1 Hawthorne Avenue.
During this difficult time, the family of Andreas would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to friends and family for the comforting words, expressions of sympathy, and condolences that they have received from those individuals. SAVVA ANDREAS GEORGIOU He died peacefully in his sleep at home on Thursday, October 28, 2021, when he was 79 years old. His passing occurred on that day. Christy, George, Maria, and Christos are the only members of Andreas’s family that are still alive today.
Despina, who was his wife, is the only person he leaves behind. As long as people remember Andreas, his hospitality, kindness, and generosity will be legendary qualities that people associate with him. He was devoted to his family, especially his wife and children. Funeral services will be performed at St. Spyridon Church on Wednesday, November 24, at 11 a.m., and the deceased person will be laid to rest in the Caister Cemetery after the services. Only the family should receive flowers at this time.
If you have a desire to do so, you are more than welcome to give a contribution to the Greek Church of St. Spyridon in Great Yarmouth. The funeral will only be attended by members of the deceased’s immediate family and very close friends. It will be a small and personal gathering for the service. He will be greatly missed, but our memories of Andreas will always be filled with warmth. Although he is no longer with us, we will never forget him.
