The sheriff referred to it as a “horrific massacre,” and he stated that the police are currently searching for those responsible. The police believe that members of the family were involved in criminal activity and that they were singled out on purpose.
Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux stated in a press conference on Monday that deputies conducted a search warrant at the same residence for narcotics just a week ago. He revealed to the press that one of the victims was conscious when the cops came. They were rushed to the hospital, but they did not survive their stay there. According to the sheriff, detectives are looking for at least two possible suspects in this case.
Mr. Boudreaux continued, “I do have further information, but I’m not at liberty to divulge [it] at this point.” He stated that several individuals in the small town, which is located approximately three and a half hours north of Los Angeles, had survived the shooting that had taken place there. According to what Mr. Boudreaux said, “the reason for them surviving this awful atrocity – for lack of a better description – we just don’t have all that information this morning.”
