Agnes Hoffmann Death, Obituary – Agnes Hoffmann, a longtime friend of ours who was also a member of the committee, passed away recently. It is with the deepest grief that we must inform you of her passing. After a protracted bout with illness, Angi fought heroically up until the day she passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. Agnes held a position as a sales associate for major home appliances while she was employed at Sears in Staten Island at the time. There, she was able to meet a large number of people and become acquainted with a few of them, some of whom she has stayed in touch with over the years.
She uprooted her life and moved to Unadilla once she reached the age where she could legally retire in order to be nearer to her family. Agnes was a dedicated believer of the Presbyterian faith, and she was a member of the congregation that met in the First Presbyterian Church in Unadilla. Throughout her entire life, the people around her brought her the most happiness. She had a profound affection for her family, as well as her friends and the congregation at her church. She is survived by her two daughters, Janice Vitek and Kathy Lodovice and her husband,
Terry; granddaughters, Jennifer Ondreyko and husband, Scott, Holly Abramski and husband, Jake, and Kirby Morenus and husband, Tom; great-grandchildren, William, Shane, Henry, Charlie, Ike, and Ruby; and her friend and constant companion, Jewell. Jewell was by her side throughout her life. Janice Vitek and Kathy Lodovice were married to each other. In addition to her grandkids and great-grandchildren, she is survived by her great-grandchildren named William, Shane, Henry, Charlie, Ike, and Ruby.
We want her children and the rest of her family to know that we are keeping them in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time together.
